EDUCATION: Conservative MP praises “brilliant” teaching team and “thought-provoking” pupils at Yorkshire primary school

A Conservative MP has praised a Catholic primary school after meeting with “brilliant” teaching team and “thought-provoking” pupils.

Robbie Moore, Conservative Member of Parliament for Keighley, praised St Anne’s Catholic Primary after visiting to speak to a Year 4 group and take questions.

He talked to pupils about his work in Parliament and his priorities for the Keighley area, including a new Airedale Hospital.

“It was a privilege to visit St Anne’s Catholic Primary School and spend time with the students to talk about my role as Keighley’s Member of Parliament,” said Mr Moore.

“The pupils’ questions were thought-provoking, and it was fantastic to see such enthusiasm about our town from our young people.

“St Anne’s Catholic Primary School has a brilliant teaching team, with a lovely learning environment. It was a real honour to visit and to talk to our next generation about issues that matter to them.

“Engaging with our young people is truly one of the best parts of the job.”
